Reproductive Health Association of Cambodia (RHAC) is a national Cambodian non-governmental organization (NGO). Established in 1996 to bring quality health services to families, RHAC has pioneered efforts to advocate for and improve sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), particularly for youth and marginalized populations. RHAC collaborates with the Ministry of Health (MoH), including NMCH, NCHADS, the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports (MoEYS), and other stakeholders to promote SRHR through assistance and support the national programs including adolescent-friendly services, SGBV, safe abortion, telemedicine, and comprehensive sexuality education (CSE). Through its network of youth activists, women champions, and community health volunteers, RHAC supports health education in schools, garment factories, and communities. With extensive experience in family planning, reproductive health services, infectious diseases, and gender equality initiatives, RHAC partners with public health facilities and its network of clinics across 19 provinces to ensure access to quality care for all Cambodians.
RHAC is now seeking Cambodian candidates to fill job vacancy positions for RHAC project, titled “Advancing Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health and Nutrition in Underserved Provinces of Cambodia through Strengthening Women and Baby Friendly Care and Community-Based MNCH Services” as the following:
1. Five Provincial Project Officers (one per province) for Stung Treng, Ratanakiri, Mondulkiri, Kratie and Takeo provinces
(Salary rank from $600 to $800)
Summary of the Position:
The Provincial Project Officer (PPO) is responsible for successfully managing and implementing the RHAC project “Advancing Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health and Nutrition in Underserved Provinces of Cambodia through Strengthening Women and Baby Friendly Care and Community-Based MNCH Services”. Under the supervision of the Program Manager (PM), the PPO is responsible for ensuring the high quality and timely implementation of MNCH activities in the workplan and budget, and providing technical support for the implementation of all planned MNCH activities, budget including supervision and monitoring, communication with local authorities and relevant partners, and reports to PM on the progress of the project implementation regularly and timely.
Required Qualifications and Experiences:
Medical degree with experience in public health, or another relevant degree in social sciences
Good English knowledge.
Good knowledge of digital and communication technology
Computer skills in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience in working in the community or with public health systems
A good attitude towards beneficiaries and a strong commitment to their needs.
2. Five Field Officers (one per province) for Stung Treng, Ratanakiri, Mondulkiri, Kratie and Takeo provinces
(Salary rank from $400 to $600)
Summary of the Position:
The Field Officer (FO) is responsible for managing the day-to-day implementation of the project “Advancing Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health and Nutrition in Underserved Provinces of Cambodia through Strengthening Women and Baby Friendly Care and Community-Based MNCH Services” in the assigned project locations. The FO will manage the project implementation reaching all target plans and budget, ensuring good collaboration with the target PHDs, ODs, Health Centers (HCs), Commune Council for Women and Children (CCWC), Health Center Management Committee (HCMC), and Village Health Support Groups (VHSGs) in implementing the project activities including recording and reporting, training, education and service provision to target groups, particularly women and children.
Required Qualifications and Experiences:
Medical background with experience in public health, or another relevant degree in social sciences,
Good English knowledge.
Good knowledge of digital and communication technology
Computer skills in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience in working in the community or with public health systems
